Apple Cinnamon Pie

When I was little, my grandmother used to say that you can’t eat apples until the apple salvation. I don’t know why, but when August came, and the first apples appeared on the markets, I always wanted them madly, but my mother, until August 19, never bought them, saying – you can’t eat apples until the apple salvation. By the way, if anyone knows why old people say that, please share.
Now I have grown up and can afford to do whatever I want whenever I want, but for some reason, as in that joke, I don’t want much anymore. August is behind us, apples have been on sale for a long time, but the fear that they cannot be eaten until August 19 sits firmly and deeply. Today’s pie is my first seasonal apples, at last I can take my heart out and have enough of them. I decided to bake a pie and cook 2 cups of compote from the peelings instead of tea.
The pie turned out to be divinely delicious, I don’t know whether the longing for apples is to blame, or the pie is really unusual, or maybe both, so I strongly recommend you try it.
